A Site for Free Implants

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

In recent years breast augmentation surgery has become more popular than ever for women worldwide.
However, like other common cosmetic procedures such as liposuction and Botox, many women are getting into a bind when it comes to their desire for surgery and the financial strains it may bestow upon them.
One website, which seems to be growing in popularity, claims they have found the answers for women who are looking to get implants but can’t afford the high costs of surgery.
Getting Implants, Free of Charge
Myfreeimplants.com is a San Francisco based internet company that was started by Jay Moore, who allegedly thought of the idea while trying to help his friend raise money for implants she wanted.
Since then, the company has taken off and now women across the country are registering on the site to raise money from supporters for their breast augmentation surgery.
Florida Resident Benefits
Jessica Levine, a 27-year-old resident of Florida, is one of the many Americans who wanted to get breast implants but didn’t have the funds to do so.
Levine discovered the site and it the whole premise caught her attention since it was a way for her to raise the money she needed for the operation.
After enough sponsors donated money towards Levine’s cause and she had collected the necessary $7,500 needed for her operation, she was able to fly to Los Angeles and see her doctor.
Free Doesn’t Equal Safe
Although getting others to help you financially get your procedure, surgeons still emphasize the importance of getting a board certified doctor to perform the surgery.
It’s essential for the patient to feel safe and comfortable with the surgeon and have all the information you need regarding the procedure and its risks to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Brazilian Model Undergoes 42nd Surgery

Friday, February 1st, 2008

More and more people worldwide are getting plastic surgery these days as it becomes more acceptable in society. One woman in Brazil is taking cosmetic surgery to new heights as the rest of the world watches in awe.

Model Gets Ready for 42nd Surgery
Brazilian model Angela Bismarchi underwent her first cosmetic surgery in 1992 at the age of twenty-one.
After having her daughter she went under the knife for a breast augmentation and reportedly became addicted to surgery, and its results.
Since then, Bismarchi has undergone more than 40 surgeries and has become an instant celebrity in her native country because of her many surgeries and dramatic physical appearance.
Bismarchi is currently in the works to get her 42nd surgery, which is close to beating the world record for the most plastic surgeries performed on a person.
The current record holder, American Cindy Jackson, has had 47 surgeries.
Unique Eye Procedure
For her 42nd surgery Bismarchi is not going to get a common procedure such as rhinoplasty, liposuction or facelift.
Instead, she is going to have nylon wires implanted in her eyes to give them an oriental slant.
According to Bismarchi, her decision to make her eyes look Japanese is to celebrate and honor 100 years of Japanese immigration to Brazil.

All Eyes Wander

Friday, January 11th, 2008

Picture this, you’re main squeeze of the moment takes you out on a Saturday night for some much needed alone time and a few cocktails. He appears to be excited, focused and in a generally good mood. The problem? He is not only excited, focused and open to you, but appears to be so towards every curvy female who enters his line of vision.

However ladies, your man isn’t the only one guilty of letting his eyes wander towards the bodies of the opposite sex, women too have the occasional lapse of judgment and our eyes say it all. The good news? Neither sex is at fault or up to no good, in fact, a new study shows that the wandering eye is actually a sort of natural instinct for all human beings.

Study Reveals the Truth Behind the Looks
Researcher from Florida State University used a technique known as “visual cuing to analyze the truth behind what is known as, attention adhesion.
The study found that the human eye is automatically drawn to physically appealing members of the opposite sex.

The Decision to Get Plastic Surgery
According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, nearly 11.5 million Americans underwent plastic surgery in 2006. Of this whole, over 10.5 million women opted for a cosmetic surgery procedure ranging from facelifts and breast augmentations to full body contouring.

Researchers working on the study worry that women are becoming insecure when out and about with their significant others due to their wandering eyes.
Surgeons suggest that when patients choose to get plastic surgery, they ensure that they are making the decision based on their own wants and needs, and not for the “assumed wants of their partners.

Things to Consider Before Surgery

Friday, November 30th, 2007

The American Society for Plastic Surgery claims that 11.5 million Americans underwent some form of surgical and non-surgical procedure in 2006. With so many entering the operating room annually, and with the recent reports of botched surgeries, surgeons are issuing tips for those considering surgery.

When debating about plastic surgery it’s always important to think the decision through thoroughly and understand exactly what you want and need for your body.

Be Prepared

Before you visit a plastic surgeon it is essential to write down any questions and concerns you have regarding the procedure.

According to Dr. Mark Chariker, a plastic surgeon in Louisville, KY, expressing your thoughts and asking your doctor questions will immediately establish good communication between the patient and the surgeon.

Don’t Leave Room for Surprises

Researching the type of surgery you want is necessary so there are no surprises when the procedure is done.

Knowing what to expect about your recovery time, the results and the pain that could be involved is important so you know what to expect in the outcome.

Know Your Body

When having plastic surgery knowing and understanding your body and sharing any important information with your doctor is key for a successful procedure.

If you have a condition, such as heart disease, lung disease or kidney disease, these could enhance the risk of complications, so it is important for your doctor to know these things before operating.

Choose Your Doctor Carefully

When researching doctors, board certified plastic surgeons are typically the most qualified and have the most experience.

Whether you are having liposuction, a breast augmentation, or a facelift, trusting that your doctor knows what he is doing will only make the procedure go more smoothly.

Breast Implants, Free of Charge

Friday, October 12th, 2007

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a reported 383,866 people underwent breast augmentation surgery in 2006 and just when you thought the implant craze couldn’t get any stranger…it has.

While skimming through the several articles regarding plastic surgery that fill the web, I came across a particularly interesting, and yes, strange story, about a new website catered towards girls who want breast implants.

Man Has Revelation and Hits the Jackpot

While at a bachelor party in Vegas, Jay Moore was struck with, what he and many others view as, a brilliant idea. One of the “young ladies at the party reportedly was telling Moore and his fellow party-goers that she wanted to get her breasts done, but couldn’t afford to. When the men began making offers on how much they would be willing to contribute to her new breasts, Moore decided that he would start a website that would mimic his bachelor friends. The result? MyFreeImplants.com. Yes, what we have all been waiting for, a website where strange men can help out stranger women and pay for their breast implants.

Bid on Breasts

MyFreeImplants.com allows women who want breast augmentations to post their photos on the site so that male donors can support their cause. According to participants on the site, the less flesh you show the more personality you need to have to win over the affection, and money, of the men. By corresponding through messages, several women have had their breast surgery completely paid for by donors since the site first went live in 2005.

Many plastic surgeons are reportedly against the site, claiming that it trivializes what should be viewed as a serious decision. However, women who want to enhance their B cup to a double D and not spot the bill, couldn’t disagree more. Apparently women are so desperate to enhance their breast size that they’re resorting to raising funding from complete strangers, see…I told you things were getting strange.
